An auction is considered closed when the timer reaches 00:00:00 and the website dispays the message “AUCTION CLOSED”.

If bids are placed whithin in the last 5 minutes before the deadline, the auction closing time is extended by a further 5 minutes, calculated from the moment the bid is placed.

For this reason, it is not necessary to wait until the last second to place your bid.
