What are the methods and timing for processing the procedures after the award?
METHOD OF CONCLUDING VEHICLE PAPERWORK
- FOR INDIVIDUALS
You can trasfer ownership of a registered item after winning by completing the procedures for the transfer of ownership . Once payment confirmations are received, the procedures for the transfer will begin; if the procedures are handled by Effe Agency, you will find this indicated in the lot description, along with the price list in the documentation section. If the procedures are handled by an agency chosen by the seller, you will receive the details directly from the Procedure/seller.
- FOR TRADERS AND COMPANIES
If your company is authorized to perform a simplified transfer, simply specify this to the appointed agency (external or Effe Agency). You will be connected with the agency, which will provide instructions on how to proceed.
You may not wish to transfer ownership:
- Deregistration for export : if you intend to export the purchased vehicle, you must specify this to the appointed agency (external or Effe agency). You will be connected with the agency, which will provide instructions on how to proceed. Always check if there are any partecipation limitations for the auction you are interested in.
- Scrapping of a registered asset : if you intend to scrap a vehicle you have won, you will have to specify this to the appointed agency (external or Effe agency). You will be put in contact with the agency who will give you instructions on how to proceed.
Remember that scrapping a registered asset is only possible if explicitly provided for in the sales conditions and only apon approval by the Procedure.
For some auctions, it may be necessary to submit specific documentation downloadable from the auction page, in the specific sales conditions. In these cases, the information will be indicated on the auction page, in the lot sheet and in the specific sales conditions.
TIMELINES FOR THE CONCLUDING VEHICLE PAPERWORKS
Once the payment for the asset has been received, the vehicle paperworks will be initiated. Timelines may vary depending on the appointed agency, the availability of documents and bureaucratic processes.
- In the case of Insolvency Procedures : the Professional must deposit the completed auction report in the office and deliver a certified copy to the agency.
- In the case of auctions from leasing companies : the bureaucratic procedures are subject to the technical timelines of the appointed agencies and the leasing company;
- In the case of private sales : once payment is received you will connected with the seller to arrange the procedures independently.
